Dr. Carroll adds an indispensable element to the treatment mix here at the Institute. With his knowledge of both drug and non-drug therapy, we are able to provide the flexibility needed for all patients. Dr. Carroll graduated from the general psychiatry program at Emory University. Early in his practice, Dr. Carroll noted the tremendous need for psychiatric assistance for children and adolescents. Since 35% of the 6000 patients at the Institute are children, Dr. Carroll's ability to relate to and treat the younger generations is critical. His greatest asset with the children is his ability to develop empathy to open pathways to help. Always approachable and compassionate, our patients know that they have a physician and family friend in Dr. Carroll.
